WHAT TO EXPECT
Booking Your Appointment
Well-Child Checks are usually scheduled 2–3 months in advance to guarantee the longer time slots these visits deserve (newborns are the exception—just call and we’ll make space).
Sick or follow-up visits often have same-day or next-day openings, and we keep a cancellation list—so it never hurts to ask.

Arrival & Check-In
When you arrive, head to Door 207 and let our medical receptionist know your child's name, appointment time, and doctor. Have your insurance card ready, and we'll get you checked in and back to a room as quickly as possible.

Inside the Exam Room
Vitals & Pre-Tests – A medical assistant records weight, height, temperature, and any vision, hearing, or rapid-lab tests ordered for that visit.
Doctor Time – Our pediatrician joins you for a thorough exam and unhurried conversation.
Average Timeline – Most visits finish in 10–20 minutes, but urgent cases can arise. If we’re running behind, know it’s because another child needed extra care—just as we’ll take the time your child needs.
Tip: We tailor appointment lengths—well checks typically get more time than a quick ear-pain or same day sick visit—so please mention any concerns when you book.
What to Bring:
-
Current insurance card and a form of copay payment
-
Immunization record or hospital discharge papers for new patients
-
Any school, sports, or camp forms to be completed
-
A written list of medications, allergies, or questions you don’t want to forget

After Your Visit
You’ll leave with printed after-visit instructions, any prescriptions or referrals, and a portal reminder so lab results and forms land right in your inbox—no phone tag required.
